About my fundraising
In my wisdom I decided that throwing myself off the Baltic and across the Tyne on a zipwire was a good idea but it is all for a fantastic cause so please dontate what you can.
Saras Hope Foundation raises funds to manage a holiday retreat on the island of Crete for children living with cancer. The charity was inspired by Sara Hoburn who tragically passed away with an extremely rare form of colon cancer at the age of 16 in 2001.Sara's Retreat is set in beautiful surroundings and within close proximity of a modern hospital providing specialist care to children living with cancer. This property has been available on a lease basis to Saras Hope Foundation since April 2011 and we welcomed our first family to the island in June 2011
