About Headway East London

Headway East London has been on the forefront of supporting adult with an acquired brain injury as a result of trauma or illness, and runs the only brain injury specific day centre in inner London.

We are a local charity operating in 13 London boroughs. Headway East London provides vital services in these communities that enable individuals, who are often overlooked because of the hidden nature of their disabilities, to lead independent lives and to feel valued and normal.

In London alone there are at least 50,000 individuals living with the long-term consequences of brain injury and require our services and support to reduce the impact of brain injury on their daily lives.
