One Half Ironman for Breakout Youth

On the 14th September 2014 I did the Challenge Weymouth Half Ironman. I sea swum 1.9km, then cycled 90km around Dorset and finished with a 25km run (jog/stagger/shuffle) through Weymouth a few times. FUN!

I think this was / is a HUGE deal so although I have been tri-ing for No Limits this last year, I am dedicating my HALF IRONMAN to Breakout.

As a founder member of this fabulous LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trangender) youth group way back in 1992 I've now spent nearly half my life involved with this amazing Charity either as a young person, a volunteer, a paid worker and for a few years I was even it's manager :)

I reckon this whole ridiculous race will take me about nine / nine and a half hours. (It actually took me 8 hours and 39 mins) Oh crap that means I'll be exercising for longer than my usual working day (nervous laughter).

So... if everyone i know gives just £1.00 (although the minimum online donation is £5) then we should easily get to my fundraising target (hoorah) and mabes even smash it!
