Greek Animal Rescue (GAR) is a UK based charity (No:802243). Founded in 1989 in order to alleviate the suffering of animals in Greece by supporting a number of animal shelters, sterilising dogs & cats and finding homes for the lucky few.

(I) THE RELIEF OF SUFFERING OF ANIMALS IN GREECE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY THE PROVISION OF FUNDS, MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE CARE, ACCOMMODATION AND TREATMENT OF SUCH ANIMALS. (II) THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ALL ANIMALS IN GREECE. (III) THE ADVANCEMENT OF PUBLIC EDUCATION IN ALL ASPECTS OF CARE AND PROTECTION OF ANIMALS.
