About GirlAbout
GirlAbout is a charity based in Watford that aims to empower and encourage young people to make positive, informed decisions. We are a pregnancy crisis centre, providing support and information to anybody facing an unplanned pregnancy. We also provide longer term support to anybody struggling following an abortion. GirlAbout supports young parents in Watford by providing second-hand baby items for free. GirlAbout carries out prevention work in schools that encourages girls to make good life decisions through positive self-esteem and awareness.

Every £60 enables us to deliver a session that will help to raise girls' self esteem and help her to make good choices in life. Every £20 enables us to give a counselling session to a young woman who is in a crisis because she's faced with an unplanned pregnancy.

TO PROVIDE A PLACE OF INFORMATION AND SUPPORT FOR THE YOUNG WOMEN IN WATFORD WHO HAVE A NEED FOR IT. IT WILL PROVIDE FREE PREGNANCY TESTS AND AN ADVISORY SERVICE, GIRL ABOUT MEETING AREA FOR THEM TO COME TOGETHER FOR HELP AND SUPPORT FOR EACH OTHER.
(A) TO PURCHASE, TAKE ON OR LEASE OR IN EXCHANGE, HIRE OR OTHERWISE ACQUIRE REAL OR PERSONAL PROPERTY AND RIGHTS OR PRIVILEGES, AND TO CONSTRUCT, MAINTAIN AND ALTER BUILDINGS OR ERECTIONS.
(B) TO SELL, LET, MORTGAGE, DISPOSE OF OR TURN TO ACCOUNT ALL OR ANY OF THE PROPERTY OR ASSETS OF THE COMPANY.
(C) TO UNDERTAKE AND EXECUTE ANY CHARITABLE TRUSTS WHICH MAY LAWFULLY BE UNDERTAKEN BY THE COMPANY.
(D) TO BORROW OR RAISE MONEY ON SUCH TERMS AND ON SUCH SECURITY AS MAY BE THOUGHT FIT.
