TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF STUDENTS OF VARIOUS SOCIAL AND ETHNIC BACKGROUNDS STUDYING FOR ADVANCED LEVEL, SCOTTISH HIGHERS AND GENERAL NATIONAL VOCATIONAL QUALIFICATION EXAMINATIONS, OR PARTICIPATING IN APPRENTICESHIP SCHEMES IN THE SUBJECT OF LEADERSHIP THROUGH A VARIED PROGRAMME OF ACTIVITIES WHICH MAY INCLUDE MANAGERIAL ATTACHMENTS, LEADERSHIP CONFERENCES, ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECTS, OVERSEAS CULTURAL PROGRAMMES, PROJECT WORK AND OTHER ACTIVITIES DESIGNED TO ENHANCE THE CHARACTERS AND CAPABILITIES OF THE STUDENT PARTICIPANTS AND TO ASSIST THEM IN GROWING TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND AS MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.
