About Friends of Swell School (FOSS)
FOSS seeks to develop relationships between those associated with the school by the organisation of social events, for FOSS members, teachers, parents and for the children. We also organise fund-raising events so that we can help provide extra facilities or events that the school cannot fund from its normal budget. The money we raise is used to pay for various items including coach transport for various school trips, visits to the local swimming pool for lessons and a visit to the Christmas pantomime. In the past year we have provided laptops to accompany the introduction of white boards and projection systems and a landscape ?gardening club? area outside the school.
