About Farnworth Baptist Church
The purpose of Farnworth Baptist Church is to make known to as many people as possible in Farnworth that they are loved by God; to enable them to make an informed choice to follow Jesus; to inspire them into a closer relationship with God through the power of the Holy Spirit; to encourage fellowship with other believers; to teach them to live a life worthy of God; and to equip them to serve Him in the local community and the wider world. Specifically our vision is to see: ? A community of Christians growing in faith and equipped to serve God as led by the Holy Spirit ? The development of small groups and congregations across Farnworth ? The church building in use and open to the community seven days a week ? Developing partnerships with community groups in Farnworth ? Community projects established that specifically address the needs of the community in Farnworth ? The Church at the forefront of campaigning for social justice both locally and worldwide
