About my fundraising
On Sunday, March 13th I was literally roped into my first abseiling attempt - thanks to my wonderful daughter Melanie! As this was from the 450ft Guys Hospital Building, we both thought that it was a good way of raising funds for a charity from our colleagues, friends and family.
Thanks to all of your donations, we have more than tripled our target of £225 - and this has all been donated to the Lifelites charity that raises funds to provide fun & technology for children's hospices. The money they raise goes towards brightening the lives of terminally ill children and if you'd like to find out more about Lifelites please visit www.lifelites.org
We will send you a scan of the certificate from Lifelites soon after this web-link closes on the 30th April.
We hope you enjoyed the images that we sent around showing our safe descent - thanks to the support of the ropes and, once again, thanks for all your support with the donations!
