Keep the resident equines well and happy and to enable our work in markets, auctions and fairs continue. We also offer a limited number of assisted places to owners who can no longer care for their beloved equines themselves. Working with young horses and ponies allows those equines to go out to loan homes and to lead useful lives within the community. We also offer volunteer places to people local to our sanctuary bases enabling ordinary folk to get hands on with animals they may otherwise never have contact with.

(1) TO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS ANIMALS IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT RESTRICTED TO EQUINES BY PROVIDING APPROPRIATE CARE, PROTECTION, TREATMENT AND SECURITY FOR ANIMALS WHICH ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES OR ILL USAGE; AND (2) TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO ANIMAL WELFARE IN GENERAL AND ALSO IN RELATION TO AUCTIONS OR ANY SALE, COMMERCIAL OR OTHERWISE OF SUCH ANIMALS AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG ANIMALS.
