About Disabled Parents Network (DPN)

Disabled Parents Network aims to educate and increase society's acceptance of disability in parenthood. As a national charity of and for disabled people who are (or wish to be) parents, we provide advice, information, peer support and advocacy to disabled parents across the UK, though predominantly in England and Wales.

THE RELIEF IN NEED OF DISABLED PARENTS, IN PARTICULAR BY:- (A) THE PROVISION OR ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION OF TRAINING OF SUCH PERSONS AND VOLUNTEERS AND OTHERS WORKING WITH THEM; (B) THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT, INFORMATION AND ADVICE TO SUCH PERSONS AND THEIR FAMILIES; (C) TO REMOVE THE PHYSICAL AND SOCIAL BARRIERS LIMITING OR DENYING DISABLED PARENTS' ABILITY TO TAKE PART IN SOCIETY ON AN EQUAL BASIS WITH NON-DISABLED PARENTS. (D) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
