THE LONG WALK DOWN is raising money for Camphill Communities Trust NI

My story

** The total finished up at an amazing £6,106.65. All the cyclists would like to thank everybody who supported us in anyway. The cycle was a great success and a brilliant experience. Thanks again! This page will stay up until the 1st Sept so you can still donate to Camphill ***

On Sunday 8th of August, Peter Rafferty, Dervla and Patrick McGrann, Conor McDonagh, Shane O'Neill and Brian Thompson successfully completed a 300 mile 3 day challenge from Camphill Community in Glencraig, Holywood to Camphill Community Dingle in County Kerry. The cycle was aimed at raising funds and awareness for Camphill Communities.
Camphill Communities offer opportunities for people with learning disabilities, and other special needs, to live, learn and work with others of all abilities in an atmosphere of mutual care and respect. Please take five minutes to watch the video below (My brother Liam appears at 1m 24s). Your support will help Camphill continue changing lives.

"Every child and every young adult, whatever their circumstances, is entitled to the fullness of life, to know what their fu llness is, to have it revealed to them and to be part of that revelation - Camphill is dedicated to that" - President McAleese, on her visit to Glencraig, 16/03/10

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Camphill Communities Trust NI.
