About Development in Action

Development in Action (DiA) provides opportunities for young people to engage with global development issues through its UK and India Volunteering programmes.

DiA is a youth and volunteer led development education charity founded in 1992 and registered as a UK charity in 1994. It exists to promote global citizenship by improving understanding and encouraging engagement in development issues amongst young people in the UK. DiA achieves this through its India and UK Volunteering Programmes, quarterly Magazine, bi-monthly e-bulletin newsletter, and online resource library.
