THE PROVISION OF PROFESSIONAL NURSES TO SUPPORT, HELP AND CARE FOR THOSE LIVING WITH PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM MULTIPLE DOMAINS OF COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT, THE RELIEF AND CARE OF THE FRIENDS, RELATIVES AND CARERS OF THOSE DIAGNOSED AS SUFFERING FROM A DEMENTING ILLNESS, THE RELIEF, CARE AND TREATMENT OF PEOPLE WITH A DEMENTING ILLNESS THEMSELVES, THE DEVELOPMENT OF A PROGRAMME OF PRACTICAL RESEARCH AND THE PROMOTION OF STUDY AND RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSES OF DEMENTING ILLNESS AND INTO MANAGING CARE FOR PEOPLE WITH A DEMENTING ILLNESS, AND THE PUBLICATION OF USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH. THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING FOR THOSE WHO CARE FOR OLDER PEOPLE AND THOSE WITH A DEMENTING ILLNESS. THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC ABOUT DEMENTING ILLNESS ANY CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES WHICH MAY PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE HEALTH OF THE RELATIVES, FRIENDS AND CARERS OF PEOPLE WITH A DEMENTING ILLNESS
