Here at County Durham Foundation we help people like you support community-based projects that make a real difference to the quality of life for local people who are disadvantaged. We are an independent grant-making charity currently acting as a vehicle for over 70 individuals, families, companies and trusts who want to put something back into their community. Since our launch in 1995, County Durham Foundation has made grants that touch the lives of 80% of the people living in County Durham and Darlington. This could not have been possible without the fantastic support of our fund holders. To date we have helped 3,400 groups and 1,450 individuals to achieve their goals by distributing over £10 million in grants.
