About THE COOKE E-LEARNING FOUNDATION
The charity was established to encourage families to use IT to embrace the principles of lifelong learning. We work with further education and employers to strengthen pathways into employment and liaise with local schools and families to support children?s learning at home. The Foundation works with an international software company and uses interactive software to improve people?s self confidence and the quality of spoken English for non-English speakers. Our prime aim is to use IT to help accelerate social integration within the city of Leicester. We train local residents to become community mentors to support other people in their own community.
