About my fundraising
Thank you very much to all who have contributed to my recent fundraising event. This event has raised £258.50 which is really encouraging. Thanks especially to my friends at Gateway Christian Fellowship, Tina Everett and Stephen Hayward. If your donation is not showing on my page its because I have sent a cheque directly to MACS as you wanted your donation to include gift aid.
I will be making an ascent of the 1000m landmark mountain in Malawi, namely Mulanje, in 2010, once I have raised enough funds for MACS . This hike will be done with a local guide and porter to support the local economy as much as possible. Some days will be spent traversing the mountain from hut to hut, enjoying the scenery. I would like to have a few hiking companions who would like to do this sponsored hike as well in order to raise funds towards projects supported by MACS such as orphan care.
