Challenge Number: Raise A Thousand Pounds for Charity!

Event dates: 16th March 2013 – 31st December 2013

Matt Bull is raising money for BUILD CHARITY LIMITED

My story

The charity I want to raise money for is called Build. It's an independent charity, based in Norwich, and it provides social, leisure and learning opportunities for adults and young people with sensory, physical or learning difficulties.

This year I am attempting a myriad of different challenges, one of which is to raise £1,000 for charity.

So far this year I have raised money by running a 10km race and I have just completed the 3 Peaks Challenge with my good friend, Mike.

Despite many problems (like having to do the challenge in my 3-door Vauxhall Corsa, and getting lost on a mountain!) we managed to get from the peak of Ben Nevis, to the peak of Scafell Pike and then to the peak of Snowdon in 23 hours.

Feel free to read about the event on my blog: 12resolutionschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/3-peaks-challenge-done.html

Undoubtedly it was the most painful experience of my life!

It's an honest and worthwhile project and any money raised will be received gratefully and used wisely.

The sad truth is that they have had all their funding cut, have lost two members of staff, and will soon lose the venue that they rent out. So honestly, every little helps.

Please look at their website to obtain a glimpse of the wonderful things they do:
