About my fundraising
The BCPC Trauma Foundation for those who have suffered Torture, Oppression and War provides free access to specially trained counsellors and psychotherapists in Bristol and Bath. Interpreters are also provided if required. The service is totally free to clients, being funded by grants and donations.
Counsellors and Psychotherapists
Our counsellors and psychotherapists are specially trained to work with those who have suffered Torture, Oppression and War. In order to understand the special experiences, problems and issues that refugees and asylum seekers face, our counsellors and psychotherapists receive regular specialised training and supervision. This training includes working with interpreters.
Interpreters
We have access to interpreters for many different languages, and we make every effort to provide a suitable interpreter for everyone wishing to use this service.
