About my fundraising
On March 3rd I ran the Bath Half Marathon dressed as Spidermanin 1h38 m (thanks to a madcap idea of my friend Ben Sadler, who thought it'd be funny if three of us tried to run a half marathon in under 1 hour 40 minutes in Spiderman suits - my PB is 1 hour 28 mins)... We ran in 1 h 38 m. I'm raising money for Carers Support Service, the the charity that runs Warwickshire Young Carers Project which supports young carers in Rugby (where I live). I raised money for Rugby Young Carers last year running in the Dubai Half Marathon (http://johnslinger4rugbyyoungcarers.blogspot.co.uk)
I recently became a Trustee Director of this charity.
