About The Association of Carers
We provide a free home respite service to carers within Hastings and Rother by organising volunteers to visit the carers' homes so that they may go out for a few hours each without the worry of leaving the loved one they care for alone at home.
Funds raised may be used to ...
Pay for voluntaeers' and staff travelling expenses, volunteer and staff training, promoting the organisation to attract new volunteers and Carers who would benefit from some time out from their caring role. We also have a volunteers lunch each June to say thank you and a christmas lunch for all our carers, cared for and volunteers.
