Arthur Rank Centre

Make a positive difference to the rural community and its churches by supporting the Arthur Rank Centre. ARC helps people in rural communities deal with day-to-day problems(such as poverty, isolation, diminishing services) and disasters such as Foot and Mouth, through practical support and pastoral care. We help the church to continue its important role combating social problems in modern rural life. We also directly challenge these problems with many successful projects, here are a few of them:

National Care Farming Initiative (promotion of the use of farms and agricultural landscapes for the provision of physical, mental and social care)

Church Rural Group (bringing together the various faith groups in rural areas to work together)

Arthur Rank Training (providing disadvantaged urban and rural young people with skills for the workplace)

Rural Stress Helpline (confidential listening service for rural people in distress)
