We campaign for the needs and interests of people with dementia and their carers to be recognised in improved health and social care and for greater public awareness of dementia

We aim to involve people with dementia in all aspects of our work and facilitate the Scottish Dementia Working Group, which is run by people with dementia for people with dementia.

As a member of Alzheimer Europe and Alzheimer's Disease International, Alzheimer Scotland contributes to worldwide efforts to tackle the international problem of dementia. As one of the leading organisations we support the development of carers organisations in other countries.
