12/4/10 EXCELLENT NEWS MY MODEST TARGET HAS BEEN MET LETS SEE IF WE CAN NOW SMASH IT!!!

On the 25th April 2010 I will be running the London marathon and raising money for Tender Nursing Care

Why the London marathon?

A number of years ago I was stood next the bed of very poorly man in intensive care having undergone emergency surgery. When asking the consultant about his prospects of recovery he said ?we are asking his body to run a marathon in its present condition?
Unfortunately he never did complete his marathon,I have applied for the london marathon every year since and successfully obtained a place this year so provided I make the start line(injuries illnesS etc.) I will complete it.

Why Tender Nursing Care?

There's not a lot we can do to help people once they have gone but we can help those that are still here.

About Tender Nursing Care

Tender Nursing Care (TNC) is a local charity providing nurses to look after the severely sick in their own homes overnight. This allows many people to be cared for in their own homes. We are based at the Ryan Medical Centre in Bamber Bridge and cover the Preston, South Ribble and Chorley areas. We work throughout the community with people of all ages and to many families TNC is a vital lifeline

Please support this worthy charity with any amount from pennies to pounds.

Thanks Alan

p.s if you're a tax payer don?t forget to tick give aid!!!!.
