About my fundraising
stop press: Marathon complete in 4h22. This is short of my target time sadly, but having started really well in the first half, I was plagued with cramps from mile 15 to 20 and had to stop a couple of times for St John's ambulance massages. Still, I completed in respectable time! Thanks for your generous support.
I am running the London Marathon this year to support what is an inspirational project which is in need of ongoing funding to continue its mission of providing care for the sick as well as sight for those blinded by eye disease, including cataract. I ran my first Marathon in 2009, achieving a timing of 4 hours 15 mins. My target for this year is to finish in 3 hours 45 mins.
