TO RELIEVE POVERTY, DEPRIVATION AND DISTRESS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD AND TO RELIEVE HUNGER WHETHER CHRONIC OR TEMPORARY BY WAY OF EMERGENCY INTERVENTION AND / OR ESTABLISHING REHABILITATION PROGRAMMES,IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY,BY: (A) UNDERTAKING RESEARCH INTO THE SPECIAL PROBLEMS ARISING FROM STARVATION AND MALNUTRITION AND INTO METHODS OF ALLEVIATING SUCH PROBLEMS AND TO PUBLISH THE RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH AND TO DEVELOP EXCCHANGES WITH UNIVERSITIES,INSTITUTES AND CORPORATE ENTITIES TO THIS END;AND RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS FOR OVERSEAS WORK ON PROGRAMMES IMPLEMENTING THE OBJECTS.
