About my fundraising
Myself and 9 other highly tuned athletes are attempting the three peaks challenge on 14th May 2010.
It involves climbing the three following peaks, Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales within 24 hours.
It's a tough challenge and for this we have chosen a great charity, Lifelites.
Lifelites started out in 1999 with the idea of providing education and entertainments' technology for children in hospices. Its work has expanded to meet the growing demand from the mushrooming network of children's hospices in England (currently 40) serving around 5,000 children and their families.
Through the power of technology and high tech entertainments, Lifelites is the only charity striving to give children in hospices the chance to spend quality time with their families, the means to keep in contact with their school and friends, and simply to enjoy themselves away from the constant reality of their illness.
