About my fundraising
Join me in a trek for Love Light Romania in the beautiful Transylvanian countryside. This is the fourth year that we have completed a trek in Romania. Our 2012 trek will see us in July walking 20 miles from Jacodu, a small remote village in the hills in Tirgu Mures county, to the birth place of Vlad The Impaler, Dracula, in Sigisoara. There is no charge to join the trek, but a target sponsorship to reach of between 500 - 1000 pounds is required. We shall begin the trek by leaving Jacodu at 8am and start making our way along tracks, towards the forest. The trek will take us through forest, we shall be surrounded by hills. Participants can walk at their own pace and we shall have 4x4 back-up. Regular breaks will be taken when needed.
The birth place of Vlad The Impaler, now a pizza restaurant, can be found in the old Citadal In Sigisoara.
