About my fundraising
Tom Meldrum will be attempting to run 145 miles, non-stop, between Birmingham and London along the Grand Union Canal, on 25 May 2013.
The annual Grand Union Canal Race is Britain's longest, toughest, non-stop running race. It is run from the centre of Birmingham to the centre of London and competitors are required to complete the 145 mile distance within the time limit of 45 hours. If you stop for more than 40 minutes at a time, you are immediately disqualified.
Tom is raising money for Wherwell Primary School, an amazing, small, village school that relies upon the generosity of others to enhance the educational experience for its children.
